Boys will particularly enjoy Parham Airfield Museum in Framlington, which houses, among other things, an original wartime control tower and the 390th Bombardment Group Memorial Air Museum.
More history can be seen at the ruins of the 12th century Framlingham Castle, the spot where Mary Tudor was once proclaimed queen.
