The area is perfect for family holidays and although a little difficult to traverse inland, with its winding and twisting roads up in the more mountainous areas, there is a railway line, built back in the 19th century, running along almost the entire coast from Bologna to Brindisi, giving the opportunity for the whole family to have fun and experience the views along the way to their seaside destination.
Inland beautiful towns and villages are worth a visit and on the coast several of the larger seaside resorts have plenty of child friendly hotels on offer. The Le Marche region also has the opportunity to boast that they have the highest number of Blue Flag beaches of any area of Italy. The smaller destinations, while with less beach area available, also offer much in the way of baby friendly accommodation.
Le Marche as a whole is an excellent destination, offering peace of mind and relaxation for the whole family.
