Family Holidays in Andalucia
The Costa del Sol is a popular choice with several seaside resorts dotted along the coastline. Benalmadena Costa offers beaches as well as the Sea Life Aquarium, always fun for the kids, Tivoli World theme park and adventurous cable car rides up to the eagle sanctuary on Mount Calamorro. Further down the coast the children will love the excellent Bioparc Fuengirola with its natural enclosures and leafy walks along with tigers, chimpanzees, leopards, lemurs and more as well as the seven kilometres of beaches rimming the town.
At the other end of the coast, the charming and typical Spanish seaside town of Estepona offers Selwo Aventura which offers a realistic Serengeti Safari to view rhinos, zebras, elephants and giraffes in attractive and natural surroundings. There’s even a chance for the children to get close to and feed some of the animals.
Heading inland, the whole family can enjoy visiting the famous “Pueblos Blancos” or typical white villages of Andalucia with their charming narrow cobbled streets and pretty houses and the monumental cities of Cordoba, Granada and Seville are well worth a visit.
