Wright Cottages Amenities

Manor Farm Cottage is just the ticket for families looking to escape the daily grind and enjoy some quality time in a magnificent country retreat. It's 18th century stone exterior wouldn’t look amiss in a period drama, whilst the interior design is a masterclass in combining vintage-style fabrics and tasteful colour palettes with contemporary comforts and luxury touches.

Two lounges provide plenty of space for adults and children to do their own things in their own spaces, featuring big comfy sofas, easy chairs and a wood burner, a library of books, loads of toys, Freeview TVs, DVD players and Bose iPod docking station. The dining room also has a real fire and fine views for enjoying fabulous family meals around a large oak table which seats 6 or even 10 people when fully extended, plus there’s a separate children’s table too.

Two bedrooms with King Size wrought iron bedsteads have a professional designer style about them, with feature walls, co-ordinated bed spreads and pretty furniture. The third bedroom is a playful haven for children, with bunting-decorated bunks, star lights and a chest of toys. The family bathroom is spacious and in a Victorian style, including an indulgent slipper bath and modern shower.

Step outside and the garden is another oasis for all ages. The sunny patio with dining furniture and gas BBQ is ideal for the grown-ups to relax outdoors while youngsters can burn off some energy on the lawned area, with an 8-metre trampoline, double swing and slide combo. There’s even a secret garden to explore, tucked amongst the apple trees by the garage.

Accommodation Overview

Manor Farm Cottage sleeps up to six people in two bedrooms with king size beds and one children’s room with bunks beds. The main entrance to the house is through a handy porch and there are two lounges, a family kitchen and dining room, a Victorian-style family bathroom and utility room by the back door, featuring a washing machine, dryer and downstairs wc.
