Fuller’s Hill Cottages Amenities
‘Mum fun’ and special family occasions are where Fullers Hill Cottages really come into their own, thanks to a little black (or pink!) book of optional extras and the stylish comfort of these four BFB’s. From Deluxe Breakfast Hampers with Prosecco and smoked salmon to farm shop Supper Boxes and ready-to-serve BBQ buffets, that’s plenty of yummy food made simple. Similarly, for a spot of pampering, luxurious spa treatments are provided by My Personal Sanctuary or how about a little bit of fun with a Wine Tasting evening or Cocktail Masterclass. Trusted nannies and babysitters can be arranged or children can join in the frivolity with cupcake decorating, luxury picnics or a punting river trip through Cambridge (with Pimms for parents, of course). One cottage has a hot tub of its own and there’s another in the shared garden for relaxing in steamy bubbles with chilled bubbly in hand and towels, robes and kids ponchos are all provided. While parents relax in the hot tub, children can also play in the shared garden which has table tennis and a swing.
The four Fullers Hill Cottages have been created from the ultra modern conversion of barn buildings that date back to the 1840’s. The cottages are part of a working farm run by the Jeffries family since the 1920’s, who started and still manage Little Gransden Airfield on their land, which hosts a Children In Need Air Show in August and has a flying museum of vintage and classic aircraft. The interior designers have hinted at the families’ farming and aviation heritage in quirky design features and all four cottages have been finished and furnished to contemporary, boutique standards. All the cottages have 3D TV’s with Freeview and internet channels like BBC iPlayer, plus Blu-ray DVD players and free WiFi throughout, while the modern, well-equipped kitchens include a Nespresso machine for a frothy cappuccino or kick-start espresso. Super comfy beds are made up with Egyptian cotton linen, duck-down duvets and pillows, and all the bathrooms are smart and modern, with tiled walls and floors.
Accommodation overview
Fullers hill Cottages have been transformed from a historic barn on the Jeffries working farm and comprise two apartments for up to four people (plus babies) and two apartments for up to six people (plus babies).
The Stables (2 + babies), as its name suggests was where the farm’s trusty shire horses lived until the 1960’s - the last residents being the beloved Bonnie, Major and Corrie. The cart they used to pull has been restored and is on display in the garden area. The Stables also has the advantage of being all on the ground floor, providing easy access for prams, pushchairs and anyone with disabilities. In the comfortable lounge area, families can curl up on a large corner sofa to watch the 3D TV with Freeview and internet channels, or watch a movie on the Blu-ray DVD player, listen to music through the docking station or make use of the free WiFi. The sofa can also easily be converted into a double sofa bed and the dining table extends to seat up to 12 people. The modern kitchen diner area is smart and well equipped, including a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the essential crockery, cutlery and utensils. All cottages have use of a communal laundry with a washing machine, dryer and a large freezer. The Stables has one bedroom, with a super king size bed and space for a cot, which can be provided. The bed has a luxury mattress and is made up with cool, Egyptian cotton linen, duck down duvets and pillows. There is also a single day bed in the foyer. The family bathroom has a clean, modern design, with tiled walls and floors, a shower, washbasin and WC.

Reviews
The hot tub really made this stay as our monitor worked out at the hot tub so we could relax when he went to bed. Plus the advice of the owner was really useful and they were both very friendly.Review dated 27/08/2016
