Apartment Nina (2 plus baby - £600-£850pw) is probably best suited to a couple with a baby in the pre-walking stages. It has a comfortable double bedroom and space for a cot. The spacious living area opens out onto the pool terrace (something parents of toddlers would need to guard).
.
Apartment Fernando (sleeps 1-4 £650-£950pw) which has a lovely mezzanine sleeping area (double) with room for a cot and lounge below with two sofa beds. It has a spacious sitting room and a shady terrace. The pool terrace is a safe distance via two flights of stairs (care should be taken with crawlers/toddlers).Larger family groups could combine it with Apartment Isabella, with which it has a connecting door
At last a place we can escape to with our toddler and actually have a wonderfully relaxing holiday! I was beginning to wonder if it was even possible?! Sarah & Johnny are the most incredible hosts - they have thought of all the little extras that make a family holiday easy, relaxing, fun and the stuff that very special memories are made of. The yummy children's spread at tea time, the delicious evening dinners, the numerous play areas and toys, the array of animals all of which the children delighted in feeding, the breath taking scenery, the in-house massage, the beautiful pool area, the luxurious apartments, the wonderful people we met... I could go on and on! Thank you Sarah & Jonny - we have been raving about our stay with you since we visited. The three of us had such a wonderful time with memories to treasure. We will see you again soon!Review dated 05/12/2015
Such a fantastic holiday. Our 21 month year old loved the animals, toys and pool whilst we loved the food, location and great hospitality.Review dated 26/09/2015
Great in terms of host Sarah couldn't do any more to cater & care for toddlers but environment is mixed, stairs & no fence around pool meant we had to be extra vigilant.Review dated 14/07/2014
Beautiful spot and Sarah so very welcoming.Review dated 23/09/2013
We had a thouroughly enjoyable time, unlike anything we had yet experienced in terms of a family friendly holiday and in such beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Perfect!Review dated 25/04/2012
A lovely relaxed environment in a tranquil setting which we thoroughly enjoyed. There were plenty of things to keep our toddler entertained. The food was delicious and hosting exemplary.Review dated 17/09/2011
A wonderful and relaxing holiday, just what we were looking for with an active toddler. Although not the kind of area we would usually look at in Spain, away from the coast it was actually very nice and we didn't even need to leave the site to have a nice day. Loved being able to interact and eat with the other families and our hosts, who provided abundant and very scrummy food and drink. Not cheap but worth it for the stress free, relaxation you crave the rest of the year.Review dated 09/09/2010
My family and I stayed at Caserio del Mirador at the beginning of April and wanted to leave some feedback about our stay. Sarah and Johnny our fantastic guests - nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was great, food for both toddlers and adults was first class. We really can't fault the place! Review dated 07/06/2012
"Caserio del Mirador, and Sarah and Johnny, are wonderful. It was our first holiday abroad with our 9-month year old son, and the fact that we have extremely fond memories of the days that we spent there, notwithstanding the tummy bug that our son caught literally the minute we touched down in Spain and which briefly knocked us for six, pays huge testament to the warmth of the welcome, amazing hospitality, delicious home-cooking delivered straight to our room, stunning views across the valleys, and Sarah's ability to take care of everything, no matter how small, to ensure that her guests have as stress-free a time as possible when children are in tow! As parents with a toddler, it's hard to imagine staying anywhere better, and we've been looking forward to our next opportunity to stay ever since we left."Review dated 04/10/2011
My husband and I along with our 21 month old son had a fantastic two week break (August 2010) and would not hesitate to recommend it for young families seeking a relaxing holiday where everyone’s needs - children and adults - are catered for. It is a beautiful location nestled amongst olive and almond groves and not much else so kids can roam freely from the pool to the trampoline to see the horses, goats or rabbits without the fear of passing cars yet it is only a 7 minute drive to the nearest bar/restaurant/supermarket and 25 minutes to our favourite beach ( Calpe ). Although you are not smack bang in the middle of a holiday resort, so a car is a must have, there are plenty of things to do both on and offsite. Onsite activities are mainly relaxing for the adults and swimming, playing in the sandpit/trampoline/playground/ping pong table or feeding the animals for the little ones. Within a 25-45 minute drive there are a number of lovely beaches, some nice little towns to visit (Moraira and Altea). The owners and their children give you just the right mixture of presence and privacy and the Robinson family are a big part in what makes this such a friendly and relaxed holiday. Sarah (the cooking) and Johnny (the drinks pouring/local history knowledge) cater for guests - kids and adults separately - each night (except Mondays and Wednesdays) and as someone who loves food I was happily impressed with the quality of both the ingredients and the cooking and, whilst all of it had a Spanish influence, there was enough variety to not get bored of eating there every night. In fact, my husband and I didn't even take advantage of the babysitting service, as we would usually, to go out for dinner. If it all sounds good, that’s because it really was and we look forward to returning to Caserio del Mirador soon.Review dated 09/09/2010
We've been twice found it on your website and are going for a third time in 18 months. We love it!!!Review dated 03/11/2009
I have been raving to anybody who will listen about Caserio del Mirador. We marveled that despite four young children we actually felt relaxed and refreshed after the holidayReview dated 03/11/2009
We had such a wonderful holiday. A great mix of stylish accommodation and friendly company and we'll definitely be back some time soon. Louisa has renamed one of her dolls Poppy - what a compliment!Review dated 03/11/2009
Just to say a HUGE thank you for making our holiday perfect. We had a fantastic time, as did Wilf, and look forward to coming again!Review dated 03/11/2009
I stayed at Caserio del Mirador - Apts Isabella and Fernando: We had the most fantastic time. Our son is 17 months old and we were not sure if our holiday would be that relaxing, we were wrong, it was fabulous and had decided the day we arrived that we would be returing next year. You will not regret going to Caserio del Mirador.Review dated 03/11/2009
"Sit gazing down the scenic Jalon valley with its olive trees from the view point at the end of the garden and you'll realise what a magical place this is. As goats' bells clang in the distance, it's the perfect spot for a romantic sundowner while the little ones play at your feet in a sandpit." Jane Knight, The Times, Sept. 08.Review dated 03/11/2009
Where hols are concerned, "stylish" plus "family-friendly" usually equals "eye-poppingly expensive" - not so at Caserío del Mirador... Taken from The Guardian Feb '09Review dated 03/11/2009
Very welcoming atmosphere and ideally set up for young children. I wouldn't have believed I could relax so much on holiday with a 2-year-old! We hope to return soon.Review dated 03/11/2009
Sarah and Johnny have carved an idyllic family retreat into the upper slopes of Valencias stunning countryside, and greet their guests with utter welcome.... Our 3 year old was in heaven, dividing his time judiciously between the trampoline, sandpit, pool, donkey sanctuary, and a multitude of slides and swings....views that you could spend a lifetime not getting tired of....For a family holiday where the family can get on with the serious business of having fun together, Caserio del Mirador is a must-visit!Review dated 03/11/2009
We had the most relaxing holiday we have ever had with a child. We had a stress free, arguement free ! week in the sun. Food was delicious, company was great, and our daughter ( almost 3) absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend it!Review dated 03/11/2009
We spent a wonderful week at Casa Robinson. The best blend of adult loveliness and kid friendliness we've experienced in a long time. Nothing is left to chance and there is no compromise for either camp. Lots for the tiddlers to do and much chilling time for the grown ups. Top class family holiday. Look no further!Review dated 03/11/2009
Sarah and Johnny have a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere at Caserio del Mirador which rubs off on you as soon as you arrive, they understand the stresses and strains of being a parent! My son (2yrs) loved it with the goats, horses, sandpit, swings, slide and swimming pool. Our apartment was lovely, with stunning views looking out on the valley. Sarah's food was great and it was especially nice not having to cook every evening. We came back having felt like we had had a break which is not easy when you have an active toddler!
