We love Limassol because there’s something for everyone. There are endless days out for babies and toddlers including the Cyprus Donkey Sanctuary, Limassol Zoo, Cheeky Monkeys Playground, Mazotos Camel Park, Eleon Leisure Park, Playplanet Soft Play and Waterworld Waterpark plus amazing sightseeing opportunities and historical ruins which will be loved by older kids, and incredible beaches and nightlife for the adults. These family villas have some of the best sea views too!

Camping in Sardinia

There are so many wonderful places to camp in Europe but Sardinia is one of our favourite camping destinations because it’s such a hands-on place for babies, toddlers and young children. Whilst you can bask in the hot summer sun and enjoy the gastronomical delights of Sardinian cuisine, your kids can make the most of the great outdoors. Stay at Villaggio Camping Nurral, Laguna Blu Camping Village or Camping La Mariposa in the North West region of the island and you’ll have access to the beach whilst being conveniently close to the Regional Natural Park of Porto Conte and fun Monte Sixeri Petting Farm.

Don’t let the crowds of English tourists put you off holidaying in Spain. If you do your research you can easily find authentic Spanish towns to explore, with traditional food and genuine Spanish culture. You can fly very inexpensively to Alicante airport, rent a car and discover Spain. Jávea, or Xàvia as it is known locally, is a great little town to visit, and has a wide variety of delicious places to eat, even for the fussiest of diners. You can drive up to the lighthouse and walk along looking down at the stunning view of the coast. Casa de la Luz is situated in the perfect spot for exploring Jávea, and also for going on day trips. Castle Hunting in the French Champagne Region

The Champagne-Ardenne region in France is not only home to one of the classiest drinks in the world (and what mummy doesn’t love a glass of champers?) but it’s also home to the Bas-Rhin department, an area with more fairy tale chateaux than any other department. Hire a bike and go hunting for castles, fortresses and chateaux ruins – just don’t forget to pack a champagne picnic and some non-alcoholic juice for the little ones!
