Plus, brilliant family-friendly touches in the form of a useful list of nursery gear, toys, DVDs and books available on free loan; dedicated toddler play areas, as well as those for older children, and useful extra services such as babysitting, daily housekeeping and take-away meals from the restaurant, which enable parents to 'dine out' on their balcony, terrace or indoor dining area, without the need for babysitting.

Reviews

  • Fabulous, home-from-home accommodation - the best we've stayed in! Great for toddlers!Review dated 15/09/2014

  • Really helpful staff and Café Azur was excellent!Review dated 03/10/2013

  • Craig in cafe Azur was very friendly and accommodating. Problems were: on day of departure the lady in reception was not very friendly, we needed to pay for papers total £4.30- she said we do not accept cards for under £20, when pushed said not under £10, then changed to not under £5- i feel honesty is very inportant. Also we booked a babysitter we were told a different price by reception and then the babysitter turned up with her boyfriend, which we were not happy about. Pool was 27deg which was too cold for our baby- we were attracted by 'heated pool' in this property but only could use it once. Craig was kind enough to hold kitchens open for us in night of arrival so we could have take away as we arrived just after 8pm. Sadly the pizzas made us not keen to return to cafe.Review dated 03/05/2013

  • We had a fabulous time at the Valley. It makes life so much easier travelling with children (our girls are 3 1/2 and 6 months), even with rainy weather for the week we had a perfect break. Cafe Azur was fanastic for the children and Craig, the waitresses and chef are all to be highly commended for the job that they do. We never go back to the same place twice, but the Valley is our exception to the rule - we are planning for next year, just need the weather this time!Review dated 27/07/2011

  • The stresses of a long journey just melt away- a family friendly holiday without loosing the privacy and relaxation of holidays before 'baby'.Review dated 01/06/2010

  • Extremely friendly staff and excellent facilities. The indoor pool was a real hit with our children who insisted on going every day. Located near many of the best Cornish visitor attractions - bike hire about a mile and a half up the road was very good value and well set up. Overall I cannot recommend the Valley highly enough to those with young children.Review dated 12/04/2010

  • We had a lovely stay at The Valley - the kitchen was well-equipped, the bathrooms clean and modern and the bed very comfy - wish I could have spent longer in it but difficult with a 2-month old! Very friendly staff too - a lovely holidayReview dated 03/11/2009
