Quo Vadis Verdict: We find ourselves recommending this lovely hotel over and over again because it offers so many of the facilities and services that families (particularly those with younger children) are looking for. Not to mention the 9 hole golf course for dad and the fantastic spa for mum (the first Six Senses Spa in Europe)! The location is lovely – right on it's own ‘blue flag' sandy beach with fabulous views over the Bay of Elounda. It's also a winning choice so often due to it's variety of great room types for families. All in all, definitely one of our favourites for a relaxing beach holiday.
BFB View: Excellent childcare facilities with a focus on creative activities based around the Greek way of life, makes it quite culturally enriching for little ones. The Six Senses Spa is totally outstanding, as are the great watersports facilities for adults from PADI courses to luxury yacht charter and the usual windsuring, water skiing etc.
Accommodation is in a choice of double rooms (some interconnecting) and larger suites. Our favourite option are the three Porto Deluxe Suites. These have a lounge which is a normal size hotel room with door through to bedroom which is a good size with en suite bathroom and access to large balcony (also accessed from the lounge). Please note: the grade above 'Porto Deluxe Suites', those with semi-private pool, are less ideal since they are split over two levels.
Guide Prices:
Couple with a Baby - From approx. £1,800 low season to approx. £3,500 high season. Based on 7 nights in a Porto Deluxe Sea View Room, including half board, transfers and return flights from London.

Share Tips & Advice Show Location Map Most guests find it very hard to leave the resort but the picturesque fishing village of Elounda is just 2kms away and is a big draw thanks to its small harbour surrounded by shops, cafes, bars and tavernas from which you can watch the world go by. A little further afield is Aghios Nikolas, a small town where fishing boats sit alongside million-dollar yachts and cruise ships. Transfer time is approx. one hour from the airport but its very quickly forgotton on arrival!
