Who says you have to give up boutique holidays when you have kids? Well not here! Le Sarrail is a cluster of three newly converted luxury houses that wouldn't look amiss on the pages of Wallpaper* and Elle Decoration in a setting that could inspire the most reluctant of artists. It’s the realisation of a dream for, Becky and Philip, the style-savvy parents who renovated them, but also the answer to the prayers of many families just like them. Along with the mid-century classic furniture pieces, luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, WIFI and IPod docks, come a long list of nursery gear, a host of toys, and funky little log-cabin playhouse, not forgetting the stunning views from the heated outdoor pool, the elegant lines and chic loungers of which are very often accessorised with a collection of kiddie inflatables. Guest comments such as ''You have created such a perfect haven for children and grown ups alike that I'm not sure I want to tell anyone else about it - see you next year! (guests with 2 kids under 6yrs) mean that the summer months can often be booked up a year in advance. This is not only because the kids are so happy here but also partly due to the 'hotel style' services that are offered, the extra services list is endless, practically anything can be arranged; on-site wine-tasting, massage, flights over the Pyrenées even a visiting photographer to capture your families happy, tanned holiday moments!
If you can bear to tear yourself away from Le Sarrail's lovely pool and tranquil setting for longer, there is so much to discover nearby; it's less than an hour from both the beautiful wide sandy beaches of the Mediterranean and Pyrenean ski slopes. Lake Cavayère with it's sandy beach and little boats is only 20 minutes and right next door for the more active is Acro Branch (for kids & adults) where you literally swing from the trees. Forty minutes drive will find you in the foothills of the Pyrenées, breaktaking gorges, canoeing, rafting, climbing, hiking, visit the 'Wolf Park', Dinosaur Museum or just take in the scenery the many stunning mountain towns & villages. Alternatively, why not hire a little boat or cycle along the beautiful canal du midi, which is 10 minutes from Le Sarrail.

"...heres a place with genuine class... an oasis of retro-chic style....the luxuries are all modern crisp Egyptian-cotton sheets, iPod docks, gas barbecues and all. Theres a good shared pool, a huge open barn for entertaining and a log cabin for the kids to play in, all with a view over vineyards to the Pyrenees. Its where were heading this summer." La Sarrail was perfect. It had everything we wanted, but not too much that we felt we were paying for things we didn't need. Would highly recommend it and definitely return

Arriving at Le Sarrail is the nearest I have come to the feeling of staying in a boutique hotel since I had children and stopped hotel holidays! The house is immaculately designed and decorated, the views beautiful, the children's facilities plentiful and excellent. It's a great location for exploring Languedoc-Roussillon with lots of lovely toewns and villages nearby to explore. What makes this a really special place is the lovely familly who own Le Sarrail who have created a wonderful atmosphere and make you feel so welcome. I thoroughly recommend it - we will definitely be going back!

We had a fantastic, relaxed holiday here. The owners were helpful but unobtrusive and the facilities were high quality and well thought through. Good kitchen equipment, comfortable beds, plenty of fluffy towels and great kiddy play equipment. Its a great area to explore also. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic holiday at Maison Figue. Our little boy was occupied 24-7 and worn out by the evenings! We were made to feel very welcome and provided with lots of information about the local area and sites to see. A huge thank you to Becky and Phil
