This cluster of nine totally charming honey-stone gites share a glorious setting amongst woodland and walnut groves, plus a well thought out range of services and facilities, and a handy location a few miles from the lovely medieval town of Belves. Past guests rave about the combination of tranquillity and sociability, with friends of all ages made at the weekly BBQ night and, inidvidual gites and 53-acres of grounds ensuring a quite spot is easily found. Relaxing is made all the more easy thanks to facilities including a tennis court, a games room, heated outdoor swimming pool with spectacular views and a private licensed bar serving snacks and home-made meals. The daily delivery of croissants, pain aux raisins, pain au chocolat and baguettes ensures there's no need to strike deals over who has to get up early and head to the boulangerie or makes breakfast, whilst the delicious home-made meals, which can be delivered to the gites or eaten outside the bar area, means there's no need to cook at all. It should be said though, that the markets in the many nearby towns will generally have even the most reluctant chef inspired to knock up a dish or too!
Ever eager to ensure their guests get the most from their stay, although never obtrusive, friendly owners, Steve and Helen Humphrey, provide many distractions for children of all ages from the padding pool and sandpit to baby swings and slides, indoor games and plenty for older siblings and parents including table tennis, boules, tennis, adventure playground, badminton, volleyball and five-aside football pitch. Parents are well looked after too with thoughtful extras such as the pre-arrival shopping service, which can include nappies, formula, wipes etc. , meal delivery (Thai Curry & Aubergine Bake particular favourites!) and optional maid service, plus well equipped gites with dishwashers, microwaves and food blenders as standard. All houses also have private outdoor courtyards or gardens with BBQs and dining sets - perfect for al fresco meals and drinks!
The nine gites at Peyrecaty are furnished in comfortable country-contemporary style, in keeping with the architecture. They can sleeps from 2- 8, or up to 46 if the whole hamlet is hired. BFB particularly likes the 2-bedroom 'Cadouin', which is set all on one level, making it ideal for crawlers and toddlers. The villa has 2 bedrooms, one king sized double and the tots favourite - bunk bed room with added single. There is a fuy equipped kitchen (hob,oven,fridge/freezer, microwave, dshwasher, blender etc) perfect for whipping up anything from a quick lunch to an evening feast and a lounge/sitting area with tradtional log burner. There is a shower room and baby bath provided along with a separate w.c. Outside there is a garden with BBQ and dining furniture to the rear along with a further eating area to the front of the property with wrought iron furniture which looks out onto the charming Mediterranean style courtyard which is surrounded by fragrant lavender plants.
Domaine de Peyrecaty is just a few minutes from the Chateaux-lined Dordogne River and close to the beautiful historic towns of Beynac, Sarlat, Monpazier and Domme. The medieval town of Belvès is only a few minutes drive from the estate and has a good selection of restaurants, bistros and cafes, as well as a supermarket, antique shop, pharmacy, hairdressers, beauticians, etc. On Wednesday evenings in the summer there is an evening market in the main square. Here you can choose a meal from one of the many stalls selling, paella, confit de canard, roast chicken, mussels, langoustine etc and then select a local Bergerac wine to go with it. Then sit down, relax and eat and drink with local French and holidaymakers alike, absorbing the atmosphere and listening to traditional French live music.

Hi, we are Steve & Helen Humphrey and we have owned Domaine de Peyrecaty for 9 years. We love living in France and we'll be here to help and answer any questions you may have when you're here on holiday.
Families return to Domaine de Peyrecaty year after year as they
know the children are safe and happy and that means happy and relaxed parents!

Here at Peyrecaty we know it's important that parents get a holiday too (not just the little ones), so we have a bar for you, which is next-door to the toy barn, so children can play whilst mums and dads have a leisurely drink at the bar terrace!
We also have a tennis court, swimming pool (heated to 28 degrees), babysitting can be arranged and the local restaurant delivers hot meals, so you can have a relaxing meal when the children are sound asleep.
