favourite spot for splashing about in the gites’ communal swimming pool with
its handy shaded gazebo.
Friendly owners, Malcolm and Jaqui Roffe live discreetly
onsite with their own little ones and provide a wealth of information, thoughtful
services and equipment to help families with young children enjoy as much relaxation
as possible.
A long list of useful nursery gear (see fast facts column for breakdown)

Owner Profile
We are Malcolm and Jaqui Roffe with 2 children -Callum who is 12 and Maya who is 9. We moved to France and the Dordogne just over 3 years ago as we had always wanted to run gites or self catering accommodation and just thought if we didn't give it a go then we would always regret it. The children were then of an age that if we didn't do it then, we felt it would be too late for the children to integrate into the french way of life and pick up the language. So here we are and are loving the way of life that us and the children now have. |
Our previous guests have all loved Chuaffour for different reasons - whether you like to join us for a natter and glass of beer or wine, enjoy the pizza evenings which are great for the kids - they can eat as much as they want and then go and play in the safety of the garden while the adults enjoy the rest of their meal in adult company. The pool area is lovely and offers a lovely decked area for all the sun lovers but even they can't resist a little snooze under the shade of the abri in the hammock! We're a real home from home and have most things that you can possibly need for your holiday and if there is anything you do need then we will endeavour to help provide it.

The children love it because there is usually someone else for them to play with - from swimming races in the pool to cricket in the garden - Chauffour is very relaxed and has great space for children to run around, we have toys, games and dvds to amuse them but generally in past experience they all love being in the fresh air playing in the garden - hide and seek is a popular favourite and everybody is included from the toddlers up to the teenagers.
