The owners of the massively popular and, generally booked up well in advance, Pagel, have re-created its magic in minature here at Champs des Lombards, which has just two gites but all the facilities that has made Pagel such a long-established favourite of families with under 10s. There's an outdoor heated outdoor pool, sand pit, a brilliant wooden pirate ship, trampoline, swings, playhouses, toys, fancy dress and a fantastic little 'Indian Village' where junior imaginations run wild with Peter Pan or Cowboy fantasies!
Parents are well looked after too with a huge list of baby gear (See grey box) provided so packing is incredibly quick and easy, and, whilst there, services like babysitting, meal delivery and chef for the night, ensure mums and dads get a real break.
Tiggy House - Is an converted small barn with bags of character in thanks to its exposed stone brickwork and beams. Guests enter at ground level into an open plan lounge dining area leading onto to a private terrace which is fenced for little ones and overlooks the grounds and gardens. There is a separate kitchen set off the lounge area and wooden stairs leading up the beamed high ceiling landing on first floor level. The cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one twin (sleeping two children in single beds and one cot) plus a large open plan bathroom with bath and shower.
Champs des Lombards is set in three acres of beautiful grounds just outside the hamlet of Labastide du Vert in the Lot region, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Labastide du Vert has a boulangerie and a little cafe for those morning croissants and is only 10 minutes drive from the wonderful small town of Praysaac, which hosts a fantastic local market every Friday morning and has an array of cafes, restaurants and local shops . Cahors, the nearest big town, is 20 minutes drive and is vibrant with a beautiful medieval centre and a weekly market on a Wednesday and Saturday morning.
For family friendly days out, try the Space Centre and the African Safari Park near Toulouse.

Flying - About 9mins from both Toulouse and Bergerac Airports and 2hrs from Rodez Airport.

What a lovely holiday we had at Champs des Lombards - there were more toys there than we have at home so our 15 month old was in his element! Lots of shade for little ones to play outside, a boat sandpit, swings and a lovely pool which is fenced off. It was so quiet (no traffic noise apart from the odd tractor) and there are shutters on the windows so our little one slept really well which made for a relaxing break for all! I have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone with children.

Safe play,running free,imaginative play areas,piarate ship and Indian village,dressing up clothes and arts and crafts,a heated pool and toddler pool and saltwater to protect little ones,like minded fmailies on site for evening glasses of wine and a cef for the night service for that special night in,a childrens tea service and a meal delivery service allows you all the freedom of self catering with options for treating yourselves on holiday by having food provided when you would like it .Fantastic views,peace and quiet,time together,time to play,time to relax,memories to make ...........holiday memories of time together as a fmaily in a very special place never forgotten.

Wow the pirate ship with dad at the helm,the indian village with the real totem pole and wooden indian chief,dressing up as someone different every day and running free in the meadow with wild flowers and butterflies.The heated pool and toddler pool for hours of fun ,pool toys and play equipment everywhere,climbing and swinging,sliding and bouncing on the trampoline ,my own toy box in my gite and my special Pagel present when I arrive,the play barn with soft play and arts and crafts and riding all day on little tractors and trikes.The lizards and birds and deer in the lower field and playing with my holiday friends every day,so much to do and so many places to go to near to Pagel like the Animal Park and Castles.
