Sleeping 21 (available exclusive use OR by the room) Chalet Le Marjorie is perfect for a large group of friends or family with kids in tow. Its location is hard to beat, being just off the main street in the charming village of Les Gets, but, for most parents, its trump card is the fantastic in-house playroom and CRB-checked childcare based there (included in the rental price). Friends without children will also be more than happy thanks to the chalet's unusally stylish and contemporary interiors, and luxury touches in the form of an in-house steam room, fabulous wrap-around balcony with stunning views, study with WiFi, IPod Docks and Flat Screen TVs, all of which are rare in Le Marjorie's affordable price bracket.
The fact that, on top of the full-time (8.30am-4.30pm) childcare and very comfortable surroundings, the services of a dedicated chef and host serving daily breakfasts, afternoon teas, dinners (5 nights to allow for two nights out) and even pre-dinner drinks, are also included, makes Chalet Le Marjorie almost painful to leave for most parents!
The chalet was recently refurbished and has been specifically designed with families in mind. As well as a triple and a twin, there a are four ensuite family suites featuring double rooms with adjoining twins or bunk rooms (two of each - all full sized) and room for cots. There's also separate dining room, lounge and a study, on top of the aforementioned playroom, allowing plenty of space to keep separate kids and adult zones for teh sanity of all, especially friends not yet schooled in the challenges of parenthood!
The stunning alpine scenery can be enjoyed from either the wrap-around balcony on the first floor or the balcony off the second floor lounge area.

Les Gets is located on the edge of Portes du Soleil and if you have a month or two to spare, there are 650km of pistes to enjoy in and around the area. Despite being at relatively low altitude, the snow record is excellent and the skiing is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediaries.
A traditional and picturesque alpine village, steeped in history and authentic charm, Les Gets’ nightlife is somewhat more subdued than other resorts however, there are plenty of relaxed bars at which you can enjoy an après ski beer or two and lots of restaurants offering everything from traditional Savoyard cuisine to fine dining.
The village boasts a beauty spa as well as a wellness centre offering a wide range of pampering and luxurious treatments for blissful relaxation.
There are lots of things to keep little ones entertained including an ice rink, bowling alley and cinema. Set against a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery, there are plenty of ways to explore including snowmobiling, paragliding, dog sleighs, tobogganing and hot air ballooning.
Les Gets has a variety of events and exhibitions taking place throughout the season but the highlight of any mini socialite’s calendar has to be the week before Christmas when Father Christmas opens the doors of his chalet, deep in the heart of an enchanted forest for a festive celebration of Christmas concerts, drawing competitions, snow sculptures, parades, fireworks and a chance to put in any last minute gift requests.
