Chalet Katie 1 and 2

Chalet Katie 1 & 2 are two halves of the same attractive building, set just two minutes, traffic-free, walk from the slopes and with panoramic views over the surrounding mountains. They may be rented by the room, whole use separately or whole use together, with Katie 1 sleeping 13, and 2 sleeping 12. The chalets are joined by their shared playroom/crèche (5 days CRB-checked childcare included) and fabulous 'spa' area, which boasts a steam room and hot tub, on the ground floor but otherwise completely self-contained. Their interiors are mirror-images of each other with the exception of bedroom 2 in Katie 1 have bunks and a single, whilst it's a twin in Katie 2.

Recently refurbished, with families in mind, both Katie 1 & 2 have a family suite (adjoining double and bunks), two doubles and two twins or a twin and triple. All but the family suites have room for cots. Their first floors house impressive open-plan living areas with kitchen, dining area and sofas clustered around a central (safely guarded) fire pit. The lounges have panoramic windows and large (safely enclosed) balconies, both with lovely views. The two doubles and twins on the second floor each have ensuites with Jacuzzi baths - perfect for relaxing and soothing aching muscles at the end of a long day on the slopes, unless taking advantage of the spa area.

Native English language, CRB-checked, child-care is included in the price and is conveniently provided at the chalet with children enjoying the company of the same carer for the duration of the holiday. Activities are tailored to specific age groups and carers can also take children to and from ski school if required. An evening baby-sitting service is also available upon request.

The chalet has its own chef and host. Breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal with wine are provided five days a week. A separate evening meal can also be served earlier for younger children if required. With advance notice, special dietary requirements can also be catered for.

Share Tips & Advice Show Location Map The chalet is within a short stroll of the blue runs in the picturesque hamlet of Reberty, which boasts its own ski-hire shop, handy supermarket and two restaurants including the excellent, La Ferme. At its highest point, Reberty is 2000 metres above sea level, which makes for great snow but may be unsuitable for babies under 18 months.

Nearby Les Menuires offers plenty of family-friendly activities including an indoor leisure centre with large pool and spa facilities. Shuttle buses run from Reberty Village every 20 minutes. The village of Bruyères is also just a short bus journey down the mountain and in addition to local shops, cafes and restaurants the village has a cinema and ice rink.

Reberty has great ski-in, ski-out accessibility with 7 skiable peaks above 2000 metres. Les Menuires provides a gateway to one of the most extensively linked ski areas in the world with a variety of terrain making it suitable for skiers and boarders of all levels.
