This cluster of four cottages are a real find thanks to their combination of a country village setting, cosy yet contemporary interiors, and a fabulous location just 12 miles from the Georgian splendour of Bath, and on the doorstep of Longleat Safari Park.
Interiors are light and bright with contemporary furnishings such as leather sofas and pebble fireplaces, and an emphasis on blending style with comfort. The furnished patios attached to each cottage are perfect for sunset drinks, or simply enjoying the view whilst watching the little ones play with the toys provided. Fishing fans will enjoy the fully-stocked onsite Carp ponds, set a safe distance from the cottages.
Each of the four cottages sleep four in a twin and double bedroom. They have stylish contemporary kitchens, which are fully equipped with microwaves, dishwashers and fridge freezers. The open-plan lounge/dining rooms have underfloor heating, TV, CD and DVD Players with a selection of discs provided. A seperate laundry building houses washing machines and dryers. All cottages have wireless broadband access. Neither smoking nor pets are permitted.
Show Location Map The centre of the village is just five minutes drive from the cottages. It boasts a friendly pub with great food, and ‘Mes Amis’, a bustling deli and coffee shop with take-away meals that are perfect for relaxing evenings dining ‘at home’ in your cottage. The local farm shop is a nice walk at just two miles away and a great place for fresh baked bread, award-winning sausages and lots of other goodies. Longleat Safari Park is a short 10 minute drive and, along with the animals, there are other great attractions for little ones including ‘Postman Pat®’s Village’. Nearby Tropiquaria is a great wet weather retreat and has a special play area for under 5s, as well as a puppet theatre. In Bath, the new ‘No 8’ on Manvers Street is a stylish cafe bar that is welcoming for babies and toddlers with a special kid’s lunch menu and organic baby food available.

we stayed with our toddler and had a wonderful time. Chris and Angela were extremely welcoming, providing toys and allowing us the run of their garden. The accommodation is ideal if you've got children; it's very safe and child-friendly. It's a peaceful, relaxing spot with lots to do nearby and I'd certainly recommend it to anyone with children.

We are a family with one year old twins. We found the place was fantastically well set up for children. It is rare for anywhere to be able to provide two of everything but they did. The places were clean, modern and had everything we needed and more. Cotts, highchairs, bathing, even toys and DVDs all taken care of. We only had a brief stay but we will definately return

We booked a short break and found the property fabulous value for money. Fresh bread, eggs and local milk were waiting for us after our journey. The laundry room is packed with games, toys, baby equipment and DVDs to suit all ages. The owners invited us to use the huge beautiful garden, set in rural countryside and we made good use of all of the outdoor toys.Ideally situated for local attractions such as Longleat (10 mins drive) and Bath (20 mins drive). The cottage is basic but well decorated, warm and inviting. We will definitely be returning.
