At first sight the multi-award wining Bosinver Farm looks like an idyllic model village with pretty detached cottages scattered amongst 30-acres of meadows and woodland. A closer look finds it’s far more. There are facilities including: an outdoor pool, tennis courts, a fully stocked games room, an internet lounge, an indoor playbarn and a toddler-friendly playground; yet enough space to ensure privacy and independence, if desired.
Owners Pat and David Smith know that it’s the simple pleasures of adventures in the woods and fields that can make the best memories for little ones. They’ve even created a wild animal trail complete with statues of the real thing and prizes for finding the lot! It’s almost as much fun making friends of both the two and four-legged variety at the daily animal feeding and egg-collecting rounds with Farmer Dave!
Trerose is been given a fresh new look in Summer 2010 and now combines a chic colour sheme with Designer's Guild fabrics, stylish yet practical furnishings and funky touches like the multi-coloured bathroom that enchants mini guests.
Guests enter the cottage via a handy lobby area which is perfect for kicking off muddy wellies after a busy day on the farm. The lobby leads into the spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped for families whilst the dining area with its large farmhouse table makes the perfect spot for lingering family meals. The airy lounge benefits from high beamed ceilings, comfy leather sofas and a cosy wood burner- perfect for snuggling up and relaxing. The house has three bedrooms and thanks to the one level layout of the property parents need not worry about tearaway toddlers and crawlers finding any stairs. The pretty twin and single bedrooms are accessed from the lounge whilst the double with its own ensuite is found off the entrance lobby. There is a further family bathroom with colourful bath, separate shower, basin and w.c. Outside there is parking for two cars, a pretty, well sized garden and suntrap patio which is perfect for alfresco dining during the summer months. If the temperamental British weather plays up tots are bound to enjoy the large, rounded bay window in the lounge which offers a great viewpoint over the fields, farm animals, countryside and wildlife beyond - perfect for games of eye spy!
