Up, up, and away with a Superhero suitcase
June 8, 2011
One of the best things about being a dad is that you can buy things for your son that you wish you’d been able to get your sticky little mitts on at his age.
So my 4-year-old son Fin definitely will definitely be setting off with a retro superhero suitcase in tow very soon. Not that he’ll put up any resistance to my cunning plan.
The case is covered in pictures of Marvel Comic icons like the Incredible Hulk, the X-Men, and (most importantly from Fin’s point of view) Spiderman. My youngest is currently spending 12 in every 24 hours in a Spidey outfit, leaping on me from speedily-scaled kitchen worktops while yelling ‘You’re going down, Dr Octopus.’ So, he will regard the case as a handy travelling addition to his secret identity.
It’s good to know that he’s inherited another vital part of my DNA – my childhood superhero obsession.
The case is not just a heroic face either. It’s well built, with lots of room for clothes, books and toys, as well as having a grown-up extending handle and tow-along wheels that should keep junior interested right into his teens.
It sells for £49.99. For more details, take a look at http://kidstravel2.com/inc/sdetail/10869/10803
