Harper's Bazaar Online - Finca el Almendrillo

Harper's Bazaar Online recommends BFB and Finca Almendrillo in a round up on travelling with kids written by William Gray (author of Travel with Kids).:

He says: "For sheer variety, Andalucía is hard to beat as a family holiday destination. It has everything from the safe swimming beaches of the Costa del Sol to the rugged Sierra Nevada and the cultural gems of Ronda and the Alhambra. Further west, Seville and the Parque Nacional del Coto Doñana make a great city break/safari combo. Set in beautiful countryside with mountain views, Finca el Almendrillo (Almond Tree Farm) is well placed for roaming the region. Superbly equipped for parents with babies or toddlers, you'll find everything from highchairs, baby baths and nappy bins to stair gates and sterilizers. There's also a fenced-off pool, a shady courtyard for riding bikes and even some pet rabbits and chickens. Older kids will appreciate the mountain bikes, table football and horse riding. The whole finca sleeps 20 and so is ideal for sharing with friends. Weekly rental starts from £1500 per week. Contact Baby Friendly Boltholes (0845 094 9864, www.babyfriendlyboltholes.co.uk)."

The Times Online July 22

"A stylish website aimed more at the luxury family market both in the UK and abroad. Its section of special offers always seems to have something tempting." said Michael Harvey of Timesonline July 22, 2008.

Two BFB's Named as 'UK's Most Romantic'

Sleep-deprived new parents amongst us may take heart from learning that two out of the 10 cottages listed in the Sunday Telegraph's '10 Best UK Cottages for Lovers'  last month are Baby-Friendly Boltholes. The indulgent slipper bath, huge French antique style bed, real fires and scenic forest location of Twin Cottage earned it second place. Whilst the glamorous water's-edge terrace, pebble fire, luxury spa and bedside views of multi-million pound yachts, scored 26 Dart Marina high ratings too. Both properties offer separate bedrooms for cots and pre-bookable babysitting.... what more can you ask for?
