Super Scooters
March 18, 2010
I collected my four-year old son from his nursery school today, bringing with me his new scooter. The last one had packed in after three years of heavy use. There was a hush of wonder as he sped across the school playground. Children were staring, pointing and whispering, tugging at their mothers and carers hands to show them this dazzling sight. ‘Look, it’s green,’ I caught a small girl saying to her Mum with wonder.
The ubiquitous Micro Lite scooter, a staple part of the lives of the under 5s, has released some new colours. No longer do you have to be tied to pink for girls and blue for boys. They have a limited edition of dazzling red, green and yellow new Mini Micros all with matching handgrips at the price of £54.95.
You can update your existing scooter with a new pair or colourful handgrips or deck. Even though the days are finally getting longer I invested in the frog light which neatly wraps round the bar of the scooter and will keep my son safe and seen after dark.
