The new Peppa Pig App for iPhone – Peppa Pig Happy Mrs Chicken – launched this week and immediately topped the No. 1 slot in the iTunes Top Paid Kids Games chart.
Perfect for those moments when you’ve forgotton the ‘perfect parent’ obligatory pack of crayons/book/toy and are about to get caught short with a toddler tantrum in the offing!

Gerry Whiteside, Director at P2 Games said: “iPhone Apps have become increasingly popular amongst younger children as many parents will let their kids play games on their iPhone and iPod touch to keep them entertained when on the move. This is an opportunity we are keen to explore and Entertainment One’s strong kids portfolio offers us a great platform to launch into this market. As one of the biggest pre-school brands in the UK, Peppa Pig was an obvious choice for our first app, and we hope that the success we’ve achieved with the brand on DS and Wii will translate to the ever growing popularity of mobile apps.”

Meet Olli Ella, the sisters creating stylish nursing chairs for the contemporary home
Last week I hot-footed it through Islington to meet Chloe and Olivia, two sisters who are innovating the world of nursing chairs with their funky coloured, contemporary designs.
As with so many great products, the Olli Ella chairs were born out of necessity. After the birth of Chloe’s son, she looked for a suitable nursing chair but didn’t want something traditional when everything else in her home was contemporary. So she created the Olli Ella chairs.
I fell in love with the dapper Da-da Glider. It boasts a sleek low back and generous square shape seat replete with a lumbar pillow that also doubles up as a nursing pillow. And it’s seriously comfortable. After a long walk through Islington I was in need of a sit-down and with my feet resting on the gliding Ottoman I can assure you this is top-level luxury.
Every mother deserves a comfortable chair of her own and these are pieces that will see you through from the dizzy early baby days to the boisterous years ahead. They are comfortable, gorgeous, sumptuous bespoke pieces that are almost too good for a nursery.
All the gliders are upholstered in a practical, durable stain-proof and water-repellent microsuede in a choice of eight funky colours. Olli Ella chairs retail at Mo-Ma £899, Da-Da £799 and for the Ottoman £325.
Try them out at their Pop-Up shop which is open until the end of the year.

BFB is loving the bright, bold kids gear from Danish label Louie Louis for Autumn…
This season LOUIE LOUIS has caught my eye. The richly-coloured, imaginative clothes adorned with circus themed motifs, chunky checks and hot stripes will appeal to trendy tots. They are parent-friendly too as are durable, easy to care for clothes that will last longer than one season.
Founded by Danish designer Louise Frederiksen, of Molo Kids fame, LOUIE LOUIS is committed to creating unpretentious, comfortable clothes for kids aged 0 to 10. It’s the little details that make these clothes so special. The star prints on the denim, cat-shaped pockets on dresses and colourful pom-poms adorning cosy knits.
