Baby-Friendly Boltholes’ nominated charity for 2010 is The Fragile X Society, a charity supporting families affected by the genetic disorder Fragile X.
What is Fragile X?
Fragile X Syndrome is the most common known cause of inherited learning disabilities. It can cause a wide range of difficulties with learning, as well as social, language, attentional, emotional, and behavioral problems. Please find out more at www.fragilex.org.uk
How Do We Support the Fragile X Society?
Baby-Friendly Boltholes will offer both financial and professional support.
- We will donate a percentage of annual profits
- We will sponsor our staff to help produce the society’s member newsletter
- We will work with our featured properties to offer prizes for the Society’s fundraising activities.
