When planning family holidays, Sussex is an excellent area of choice. A seaside holiday in Brighton or Eastbourne offers child friendly hotels and much fun on the beach along with the chance to go sailing, plus there is so much more on offer to keep the kids happy and occupied.
Head to Drusillas Zoo Park which offers endless activities and animals for the children to enjoy, or choose the Seven Sisters Sheep Centre and Ashdown Forest Llama Park, for loads of animals, playgrounds and picnic areas.
Go to Paradise Park, where the kids can learn about the Jurassic Age and enjoy walking among towering dinosaurs, always a favourite with children.
Visit Bewl Water, the largest lake available in the south east where the kids can go sailing, fishing or have fun on the zipwire. For more restful fun, head to Groombridge Place Gardens which incorporate not only lovely gardens, but also an enchanted forest and a canal-boat trip.
For those with history in mind, Bodiam Castle is a fascinating visit with its fortifications and moat and Newhaven Fort, set in 10 acres of land, has a museum on the property which gives an idea of what it was like to live in a castle.
These are just the highlights, as there are many more attractions in the area, and with baby friendly accommodation on offer in Sussex, relaxation and peace of mind are the order of the day.
