All the best things about Great
British seaside holidays fall beautifully into place at 2 Eastern Esplanade in
Broadstairs. This classic Victorian family house with stylish contemporary interior is right on the seafront of
Stones Bay so little feet are literally steps away from a sandy Blue Flag beach,
with the added lure of rockpools at low tide. Buckets and spades, balls, beach toys
and a UV tent are all provided at the house and there’s even a pull along wagon
to carry 3 children to the seashore, plus a Maclaren stroller. Just a few minutes
toddle along the seafront and there are swing boats and trampolines on Viking
Bay or the crazy golf, ice cream parlours and quintessential summer holiday fun
of Broadstairs itself.
Although coaxing youngsters away from
the beaches might be tricky, it’s a little easier thanks to the child friendly
features at 2 Eastern Esplanade. The large front garden boasts superb sea views
and a shower hose for washing off sandy feet while at the rear of the house is
an enclosed lawned garden and decked patio for wining and dining in the evening
sun. Even if the weather isn’t great, staying indoors is no hardship! The young family owners have lovingly renovated this fine Victorian house bringing it bang
up to date with stylish decor, funky finishing touches and the reassuring
evidence of having three young children themselves in the form of abundant nursery gear, toys, books and DVD.
The spacious living room is a
luxurious chill out zone with big comfy sofas, wood burning stove, 32” flat
screen TV with Sky HD+, DVD/blue ray player, iPod docking station and CD system,
then there’s the bonus of a family room with play tables, toys, games and
books. The large, open plan kitchen dining room includes an oversize SMEG fridge freezer, professional range cooker, a contemporary table and chairs for
10 and French doors to the patio with outdoor furniture. On the first and
second floors, the children’s bedrooms are bright and playful, the grown up
doubles are large and luxurious and bathrooms are kitted out with quality
toiletries, fluffy linen and helpful accessories for toddlers. All in all, 2
Eastern Esplanade is one classy, well equipped house for families and friends
to have the ultimate English seaside holiday.
